It is illegal for kids to drink at home in Illinois. But in Wisconsin, it is still legal for parents to take there children to the bar and get them a drink there. Most bars will not serve children, but the law is still on the books. The law that allows children of any age to buy and drink alcoholic beverages in taverns, as long as the child is accompanied by a parent or guardian. I know this from personal experience.

Very much against the law. In the past couple years some parents have been fined and even given jail time. If a kid then leaves that house after drinking there, the adult is then liable for and accidents that may happen.

It's very illegal. Any person under the age of 21 drinking is an underage drinker in any state, and you giving it to them, or even being present around them at the time of consumption would be contributing to the delequency of a minor. You will be punished, and if the child is old enough, they will be too.

It's not legal for kids to drink anywhere unless they're of age. Some Europian familys tho, do allow their kids to have a glass of 'vino' with dinner.(wine). But all in all, it is against the law.

No it is not! Plus if caught the parents can be arrested for abuse to a minor.

Still, a glass of wine with a sit down meal can be justified.
