It may be only if you live in Canada, but you could call Kid's Help Phone (1 800 668 6868) and talk to someone professional there who could tell you if your parents are actually mentally abusive and what you should do next. It's completely confidential.

Maybe they just know things from personal young experience... trust them. Your parents were your age at one time... listen to what they have to say. And if you don't, then some day you will be older, and wishing you did... :)

my mom was like that for years. i went down completely the wrong route of gettin into drugs and drink at 15/16 and when she threw me out at 17 it gave me the kick to get myself sorted. dont let yourself go down that road. see if you have someone you can go stay with. get out.
