Sure you can. You should know that they will spread out so leave about 1.5 " between them. If you have parchment paper bake them on it. I think that because your rolls will be thinner you're cooking time will be at least 5 minutes less , possibly more.
As is the norm bake on the center rack of your oven and rotate the pan 180 degrees halfway through the cooking process to help insure even cooking and browning

"Sensible" was on the right track. Tuck your cinnamon rolls touching one another into a pie plate or a baking pan. They will rise and bake without spreading out. They will be square-ish, because they will bump against their neighbors, and they will be stuck together, but it will be no problem to pull or cut them apart while they are still warm. You can minimize the sticking effect by brushing the touching edges with melted butter as you pack them into the pan.

I would just pour the batter into a 9x9 baking pan. Then cut them into squares when done and cooled.

Certainly .. just pinch the loose end of the dough to the dough itself so the roll does not unroll ... if it does not stick easily, brush it with a little milk and pinch it again...

Cheers!

Sweetie, you can't make muffins without a muffin tin ... or silicone muffin cups. Whatever possesed you to make muffins when you don't own a muffin tin?

um, no...

I would run out to walmart and get some...

they cost about 7-10 dollars for ordinary ones or up to 20 for good ones like Wilton

use liners or cooking spray with them and there you go...
