If you read it, then write it down, and then study it, you will retain far more than just reading, or reading and writing it. This is a proven fact. Have no distractions while studying! Setting a schedule is a big help also. Give yourself at least 2 hours of study time each day. Whether it be before or after your social time with your boyfriend and friends. (I suggest before) This is also very important, when you become very tired and you feel like you just can't study any more, it's time to close the books. No good will come of over studying. Always get a good nights sleep before classes, mostly before tests, and eat a light healthy breakfast. I also recommend setting goals. Short term personal...short term professional...Long term personal...and long term professional. Then decide what it will take to achieve those goals. It is proven that people with set goals are far more successful than those without goal. Write them down. Good luck!

You should make a schedule for yourself. Something like, "Okay. This Saturday I will study and do my homework before 5 pm, and then have free time to hang out with my friends afterwards"

Make some free time for yourself, but at the same time keep up the workload at school.
