Its a total accident. We are made up of the nutrients we eat from the earth gradually over years. This growth and development in our homosapien body is directed by the dna that was passed on to us by our parents. They came together through chaos, proximity, and instinct. Our minds have evolved through difficult historical periods, competition and dieoffs. We are now the most intellectually sophisticated beings on the planet. However we are deeply flawed. Many people are simple and weakminded and fall prey to the financial and political organizations of the various religions. There is no more rason for us being here than bacteria growing on day old pizza. It wasn't there x number of seconds ago and it won't be there x number of seconds from now. What to do? Live a good life. Don't get caught up in religious nonsense.

Our planet grew us. We are a product of our world. While our society is, indeed, a mechanism it does help us to support a higher population than natural living ever could. However, since it is an abstraction, it does distract us from remembering that we are a part of the Earth, like any plant or animal, and not seperate from it. The 'purpose' of our sentient, self-aware beingness is to be compassionate and spread love.

Yes, I have. I don't know if I chose to be here or not, because I can't remember before I was born, but I do have a sense I was somewhere before I was born. However, there's definitly more to life than education and career. What's important to me is my friendships and family. They make life good.

I believe life has no ultimate purpose, and to each his own. I believe the pursuit of happiness is my reason, but the choices are not limited to others.
Right now, eating mini carrots is making me happy, along with answering these sort of questions, and so I continue to do this.

I'm here because my parents created me. So given that, I live my life to the best of my ability to make my family happy and comfortable, to love those special to me and to help in my community.
