I am a drummer (marching band), and the veins almost always stick out in my arms and hand. My mom continually pokes at them saying she's going to have to take me to a doctor because it's "not natural" and she's "never seen anything like this." Every single drummer on our drumline has veins poking out of their arms, even the two girls.

Is this natural for a drummer to have veins stick out of their arm? If not is there some form of disease I have that causes this?

Well, my cousin was a drummer in a marching band and he had the same problem, one of our doctors said it was normal because he was using a lot of movement and excersise with his arms so the blood was flowing faster than usual that's why his veins would stick out. I think it's normal.
