the laws of the OT was never suspended.

Matthew 5:17-18

17"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.

Leviticus 11 1-8 States that only animals with a completely split hoof and chews the cud are the only animals we are to eat. I don't think humans fall into that category. also you state that the OT dietary laws were suspended . Wrong. A lot of people believe that first timothy verse 4 says all animals are to be eaten. Actually the topic is those people who are saying that some of the animals that Leviticus says are OK to eat are being said to be unclean. So verse three reminds them that all things created by god to be consumed are OK to eat . And if you keep that in mind when your read the rest of that paragraph it is then you will understand the precept of that subject. I don't suppose your initials are J.D are they. lol

As a Christian Preacher I'd like to see the verses that suspended anything other than the penalty of the Law.
Not only that but recent Medical reports have established the Mediterranean diet as one of the healthiest there is.
Amazes me how much it resembles the dietary laws as laid out in scripture.

Shalom Ahi,

I was not aware that dietary laws were suspended. Who told you that Kashrus was no longer fashionable and that our rabbis took kashrus of the shelves? Lat time I’ve checked, people in my shul keep kosher, I keep kosher, half of my friends keep kosher, and even one of my Christian friend, Mike, keeps kosher (for health reasons).

Now, you know, if you want to eat human flash there was a questionnaire recently who claims, if I understand him correctly, to sell Jewish human flash. Here is his link http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AoH2LhRzKTgvRgFFNvH9jmIjzKIX?qid=20070324145216AAVbpPn I think that this person has been dropped to many times on his head.

Now to be more serious read Deut.14:4-5 the passage discusses the prohibition of cannibalism for the followers of the Torah. By examining Gen.9:3 (see Gen.7:21) we read that the Noahides are also forbidden to consume human flash. The Talmud mentions that Noahides took it upon themselves not to sell human flesh in meat markets (I am not sure where though? I remember learning this in Efrat’s yeshiva, Hamivtar Orot Lev under the rules of kashrus).

Acts 15:28-29
29You are to abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality. You will do well to avoid these things. Farewell.

Don't think the body is classified as "food."

There is also a certain respect that Christians should have for the body: 1Corinthians6: 12-20

12"Everything is permissible for me"—but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible for me"—but I will not be mastered by anything. 13"Food for the stomach and the stomach for food"—but God will destroy them both. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. 14By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also. 15Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never! 16Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, "The two will become one flesh."[b] 17But he who unites himself with the Lord is one with him in spirit.
18Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. 19Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.

I don't know of any place in the New Testament where it says that; why do you want to know that?
