it might be because of my step dad but my step dad doesnt even pay much attention to him.
should i ask him about it or just ignore it??????

try talking to him first or starting a convo. If he refuses to talk to you at all, maybe ask him (in a non-argumentative tone) why he avoids conversation with you at church. Maybe its not intentional or he could just be shy around these people.

Maybe he's afraid of your step dad or he's focused on the Lord while in church
