Are you for or against it? Do you believe it is a real problem? Do you believe it's just a scam?

I don't think anyone that is acquainted with the research can believe it's a "scam." It's quite real and, until recently, unknown. I know some people with it. One lady nearly lost her job before she was diagnosed and corrective action taken.

It's complicated. I know there are those people (like above) to 100% absoultly believe it, but there are also those (like my optomostrist) who don't believe it.

Me. I think some people have SSS, but then again some people who are diagnosed with it don't.

They market it as a cure for everything, yet it's not. They don't let any scientists that are not with the Irlen company to look at and disect their research. This makes me wonder why.

I believe that it is a real problem. Why would you think that it is a scam?

It appears to be a problem with the eye. My grandfather used to love to read. As he aged (with diabetes) he could no longer read. I remember what he described to me; that the lines appeared jumbled and blurry and that he could not make out the words at all. He did make this up. He missed reading. Was it Irlen's? I have no idea. Was his problem real? Definitely.
