Yes, allergies can make a person ache. I am allergic to beer and wine and it make me ache all through my chest, arms and elbows.

Allergic reactions cause release of histamine, (antihistamines to control allergies- remember?) and as more histamine is released, such as in anaphalactic shock, it causes swelling that can close your airway, or you can have a histamine headache - which is as severe as migraine, but is not the same.
