Mexico is already 3rd world. With out us right next to them, they would have to stop being cowards and try to fix their own country. Instead they prefer to run and not fight for anything that has a good cause.

Mexico is already an underdeveloped country (in the post-Cold War international arena, the term "third world" is outdated). It wouldn´t be the poorest country in Latin America, but it would be a lot poorer. Money sent from the US is Mexico´s second biggest source of income after petroleum exports, accounting for BILLIONS of dollars, thus Mexico would be BILLIONS poorer.
If Mexican illegals didn´t have the US to go to, they would be forced to solve their own problems instead of running away and taking the easy way out.

What's up with all the anti-Mexican feeling in this forum today, buddy? All of Latin America would be better off without the United States controlling our resources in a neocolonialistic style. All Americans are raised with the FAKE belief that the United States is the best country in the world, and that all other countries depend on it. I am starting to get a little pissed with all that stupidity.

Mexico is not starving. The rich SOB Mexicans are letting their poor starve. Why do you think we have all the illegals here. The rich elite spanish blood Mexicans had some control for a while and are making alot of money with drugs. Now the drug cartels are out of control and killing each other along with the white Mexicans. To tell you the truth it serves them(white Mexicans) right for being greedy and selfish.

LOL they are not the poorest of all Latin America, and they would not be. They would be poorer, possibly, but what would the US be without Mexico?? Do you plan to take all their jobs? How about pay all the taxes that they pay? What about all the things imported from there, or the petroleum...hmm bet you hadnt thought of all that huh.

Um, Mexico is the second largest supplier of oil to the US. That's why Bush was down there making an immigration deal. This is a deal for US corporations-they will be free to "develop" and "explore oil" in Mexico. And will get cheap labor. This administration has made people so pro-capitalist, taht corporations are king and it matters little what happens to working people. I am pro-capitalist but the greed has gone too far and hurts our own capitalist system.
