Carbon Copy and Blind Carbon Copy.
Refers to the olden days when people used real paper to send letters and placed a sheet of carbon paper inbetween two pieces of paper before inserting into the typewriter. You'd have an original and a carbon copy. It was regular practice to put a note at the bottom of the letter stating there was a CC existing and who it went to as the letter would not be addressed to the recipient of the CC in any way.
BCC is when you don't tell the recipient of the letter who you are sending copies to. If you send an email to your mom and BCC your brother, your mom has no idea your brother has also seen what you have written.

Cc: stands for "carbon copy." Anyone listed in the "Cc:" field of a message will receive a copy of that message when you send it. All other recipients of that message will be able to see that the person you designated as a Cc: recipient has received a copy of the message.
Bcc: stands for "blind carbon copy." This is similar to the Cc: feature, except that Bcc: recipients are invisible to all of the other recipients of the message (including other Bcc: recipients).
Basically, Cc receives a copy of the message, Bcc recieves it but other people don't know about them. Make sense?

cc: carbon copy - send an email as a "carbon copy". Usually means the receiver is not expected to reply or act. Typically, supervisory personnel are notified with CC.
bcc: blind carbon copy - sends the email to alot of people but when each person gest the email they cant' see the email address of the other people that it was sent to.
