About Ravenhearst game, how do I get the chicken to lay the eggs in one of the last puzzles?

Ok I am trying to remember. I think isnt there a thing with like powder towards the top. and there are different colors or something. There are certain places in the picture that tell you how much of each color you need to add to the mixture before you release it for the chicken. then after you find all the formulas and have all the eggs the little machine at the bottom you need to line up what colors the eggs are in that order and then it unlocks it. If I confused you feel free to email me so I can try and clear it up. I have already used up my trial version and I have beaten it twice but I no longer have it on my computer so I cant remember the exact setup of the room. hope this helps
