No Jesus didn't commit suicide. He is still alive. The tomb is empty. Jesus has been since the beginning(John 1). He came to this world as a man to die on the cross so our sins could be forgiven. He was not murdered or committed suicide. He gave His life so that we may live. His blood is the only way to wash away our sins.

Well you know you are going to die, what are you doing to prevent it? Nothing? Then you too are guilty of suicide.
I'm sorry, but your logic doesn't make sense. He knew from the beginning that the plan was to show people that death is not the end, that when you die there is indeed a "thereafter".
Suicide is giving up on life, and loss of all hope is indeed a sin ... a sin, btw, is anything bad for your body, your mind and/or your soul. Jesus didn't give up on life, He showed us there is a great life for us here, then after the small sting of death, another one that is eternity :)

No. Suicide is self inflicted. Jesus was killed by others and He was innocent.
By your reasoning, President John F. Kennedy committed suicide because he was warned to have the bullet proof bubble top on his limo and did nothing about it.
By the way, help me out here, Where exactly in the bible does it say the suicide is a sin? You didn't quote the book, chapter and verse where that can be found.

Oh for Heaven's sake read the Bible before you ask these questions. Jesus knew and even asked in the garden of Gethsemane that God take the cup from Him. But in the end he said, not mine but thy will be done. Jesus said that no man has greater love but what he will lay down his life for a friend. Jesus laid down his life for all of us.
Let me ask you this: you notice a child on the railroad track about to be hit by a train. To save that child, you will most surely die. If you choose to save the child, and I believe most of us would, have you just committed suicide? I don't think anyone would classify that as a suicide but a selfless act.

ALL THOSE BORN ARE UNDER THE DEATH PENALTY BUT THESE LAND PIRATES SPEED UP THE PROCESS FOR MANY
I BELIEVE THE BIBLE
I believe the bible is fact, is truth, it is exact,
That violence did last, to end with Noah in an ark,
It is meant to tell us how evil does rule to death,
From Abraham, to Lot and Job, see land pirate acts.
Also Sodom and Gomorrah not even ten for a land law,
God's angels aren't safe to visit lawlessness so raw,
They merely survive as nomads upon land pirates soil,
Until all 70 in family, end up in Egyptian's turmoil.
At the time of Moses, all infant males are to be slain,
His parents come up with a plan that works to save him,
By the time he is age 80, Pharoah has no heir to reign,
Guess he learned how it felt, when he was killing them.
Noah in ark year 1656, now 857 years later heirs flee,
At 897 years, the land pirates land, is all they see,
They are to destroy 7 nations & Promised Land is free,
Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Moses & Joshua be.
A Priest line, a king line, the judges, all are family,
From the 12 tribes of Jacob, past 4 generations to see,
Judges 11:26; 301 years is 1198, land not trouble free,
Now Eli, Samuel, Saul to king David who brings peace.
So heir Solomon at 1Ki.6:1;480 years a temple to be,
He had 36 years to die 1413 after Noah, and 997 BCE
The 18 Judah kings end in 391 years, no temple to see,
All land is desolate and captive to Babylon Empire #3,
At 1804 years after Noah, All rebuilt by Cyrus decree,
Past 1874. Daniel 633-533, O.T. 39 books, done 443 BCE
Soon the owner of the universe amid land pirates to see,
A simple man named Jesus has no freedom here in speach.
All that he owns is clamed by Satan, Romans and priest,
He is crucified, resurrected & ascends to God's presents,
To wait until Satan & 1/3 angels cast down as enemies,
Prepares place for raised & caught up at last day as his.
To be with him at his coming and he reigns 1000 years,
The heavenly resurrects those earthly to have no tears,
All is made new & perfect & the perfect have no fears,
A new heaven & new earth is paradise, all forever his.

The greatest love is to give one's life to save another. Jesus said that. Jesus knowing that he would die and not saving himself is the same as a soldier getting killed while protecting civilians or a cop getting killed while trying to stop a criminal from hurting other people. Jesus didn't go to His death for nothing. He went willingly in order to save others (all of us).

Jesus was merely fulfilling a prophecy. He did not take his own life, he was murdered at the hands of others. When one takes their own life they are depriving God of the plan that He has for their life. When Jesus was crucified, he was living and dying by the plan that His Father had for him.

wow... what a clueless question He & the Father planned it from the beginning. It was prophesized throughout the Old Testament. He came to earth to be a sacrifice for all of humanity by His submission to God. HE fulfilled the NEW COVENANT. JESUS was also WITHOUT SIN. Without His sacrifice we would not be reconciled to God the Father. Without His death & resurrection our "Faith & works would be dead & useless". It would all be a lie.....but HE fulfilled the prophecy of the scriptures........
JESUS RULES...................<>< <><

Yes! Some people say it was martyrdom, but for it to be martyrdom he must have died to save other people. Take a look at the world around you. Is anyone really "saved"? Nope. So yes, he committed suicide, or at least the equivalent of suicide by police.
