My Bf and I are really close...we're in the 8th grade, and recently me and my friends were talkin' bout when were gonna have sex. My bf said he wants to wait until the summer after 9th grade. By then he'll be 16 and i'll be 15. Is this too soon?

First of all it's too soon to even be thinking that far ahead. You two might not even be together then and you'll be thinking about all these plans when you break up and you'll be more sad then you should be.

But if you two are still together then, I say if you are ready then do it. But dont let him push you into it. Do it when you are ready. I'm 16 and I'm still a virgin. I havent found the one I want to have sex with yet and I'm fine with that.

Yes, its wayyyyyyyyy too soon honey. Before having sex you've got to educate yourself on the consequences. What if you get an STI? What if you get pregnant? Are you emotionally prepared for what comes after the sex? You have to do some serious self-evaluation before having sex. Don't ever rush it or you'll end up regretting it, and it'll seriously affect future relationships.

Personally I think that it is too soon. When you are 14 and 15 you are too young to know if you really love someone. I don't think that you should be doing it just because your friends are doing it. I think that you should stick to your morals. You and him should talk about it even more and if you can't come to a compromise or if he completely makes you change your opinion then I would dump him. He is not worth changing your morals for a guy that you are not even sure that you love.

yeah, i mean, whats the rush? one thing you gotta learn about sex its something you should NEVER plan.. let nature take its course.. if it happens it happens but its something that shouldn't be planned. when your ready you'll know it cause there won't be a thought or a second guess. plus your a girl.. you should learn and know how to hold out, he's a dude he really has nothing to lose. but, you've gotta learn to appreciate your body and make sure the guy that has sex with you is someone you really love and if you and him break up there won't be no regrets of having sex with him.

Girl you are WAY to young!!! If you have sex and have a baby, the whole school will know about it and you will NOT be happy about dropping out of school to take care of a baby you can't even take care of! Keep dating of course but wait at LEAST 2 years before you have sex!

Yes. What's the rush? Rather wait till you are older and wiser. You've got plenty of time to do that l8ter in your life. Think of if this way once you do it, there's no going back. If you go ahead with it, just make sure you are both protected.

Honestly, there is no set age for deciding when you are ready, it all depends on how mature you are and if you feel that you are ready. Just make sure when you do have sex that you are smart about it. So make sure you both get tested and use protection.

I think it could be too soon. I think it depends on a lot of things. How mature is he? How mature are you?

I was a virgin until my wedding night and was never regretful about it. I have friends that had sex too soon and have been regretful.

No because when you find the right person that you love and set a age for when it time to have sex. I think it a great time.
***But think do I really love him or are you ready for sex***
Plus I only 14 years old
