Do shy guys prefer if the girl makes the first move??
B/c i am shy myself lol so if we r both shy am i going to have be the one to make the first move??
What do you guys recommend i do??

Yes, most shy guys like girl to make the first move. If both the girl and guy are shy it can be a real deadlock.
I'd recommend making the first move.
As a shy guy he could be a big dam just waiting to flood. He just needs a push. A clue from you that you officially, really do like him and won't just laugh and make fun of him if he opens up to you.

Some shy guys are likely to never make a move. Invite him out for drinks or coffee sometime to let him know you are interested, and that it is ok for him to be interested.
