It says in Acts 1:18-19 "With the reward he got for his wickedness, Judas bought a field: there he fell headlong, his body burst open and all his intestines spilled out. Everyone in Jerusalem heard about this, so they called the field in their language Akeldama, that is, Field of Blood"

There are contradictorary accounts of Judas' death in the bible:
Mt 27:5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.
Acts 1:18 Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.

Dear dnice,Judas hng himself, after a while the BIble says he fell to the ground and his bowels gushed out. you can read about this in the new testament Gospels. this occured after Judas betrayed Jesus, then went to the preist begging them to give him the silver back because he had betrayed innocent blood. they refused and he went mad
