Pull-ups worked great for my son. I made sure that he went pee before bedtime and told him that if ever feels like he needs to go at night to wake mommy up. Over time I noticed his pull-ups were consistently dry in the morning and so stopped using them. Bribery worked along with this. My son is a HUGE sticker fan, so every time he used the potty he got to pick out a sticker and put it on a special poster. In the meantime, be sure you have a good mattress pad. Don't forget to praise your child -- I did almost to the point of overacting but it works! Be PATIENT and UNDERSTANDING. Nothing will discourage a child more than a parent's anger. Hope I've helped!

You can't really TEACH a child not to have nighttime accidents. Bedwetting is often a genetic predisposition and can't always be controled. With that in mind, you can take steps to increase your child's likelyhood of sucess. Is your child's diaper usually dry when he wakes in the morning? If not, he might not be ready to give them up. Cut off drinks at least 1 hour before bed and have potty time right before bed. Also, bring them to the potty immediately apon waking. If they can keep diapers dry most of the time then they are ready. another quick tip: for occasional accidents I have put a clean sheet, then matress pad, then another clean sheet on the bed. If they wet during the night simply strip off the top sheet and mattress pad and they are ready to go back to bed!

Have lots of extra sheets on hand and make sure you have a plastic cover down. Get up in the middle of the night to help with potty time and less fluids before bed.

have you tried the Pampers Sheets they are a square that you just slip under the childs sheet, also you could start by using pull up pants and telling the little one to go wee wee before bed i used to get my daughter up when i went to bed also, yeah i know its a little tough but then they will understand they have to wake up and use the loo too

children do not get toilet trained at night until after their fourth year... they really wet the bed before this age... what i can advice you is to not remove your childs diaper just yet... because it can affect his psychological development... so instead of washing too many bed sheets in the morning, try not to force your child what he cant do yet... and also limit his fluid intake at night because this can add to his bed wetting
