Christianity. It's the most common form of mythology, therefore finding a church that supports it will be fairly easy.

Depends, what religious affiliation are you the most familiar with, or a member of? Whichever one you are the most familiar with or a member of, I would say choose another religion to interview someone from. If you are a Christian, then try interviewing someone from Islam. If you are a Muslim, then maybe a Jewish priest or a Hindu or Buddhist priest or whatever they're called. Any religion that has views of the world that are opposing to the ones that you have. Keep in mind, though, that it is an interview, so if you choose some religion where the person is of a different view of the world than you, don't start getting into an argument over issues with them because that is not what you're there for. You're not there to strike up a debate with this person, you're there to interview them on their religious ideals. Striking up a debate with them would be completely disrespectful and would probably lead to the termination of your interview. You need to be respectful of this person's religious beliefs, since they are different from yours, that is, if you follow what I have suggested above. It's all yours now bud. Take care, and good luck with your interview.

Bahai. I live near a huge Bahai temple here in Illinois. I betcha if you contacted them you could do a telephone interview or internet interview. Then, you would have an interesting religion that nobody else does. If you have to stick to the main five world religions, why don't you do Islam, and maybe give some positve feedback and educate people on how muslims are outside of fanatisim.

You might try Unitarian Universalism...it won't be 'overdone'. Everyone is going to do Christian, or Buddist, or even Islamic or such...I'll bet the UU's will be overlooked, we usually are :)!
If you need someone to interview, you can even ask me. I have been an active UU for over 10 years. Also, I happen to be pagan, which is another religion that probably won't be done much...although some might do Wiccan, which is NOT the same thing, btw.

That could be very interesting. I would pick a religion that you don't know much about, so that you can really learn something with this project. Of course, you'll also have to pick a religion that you can find someone who is a member of it to interview! So you probably wouldn't want to pick something like Zoroastrianism, unless you actually know a Zoroastrian. ;-)

--Jehovah's Witnesses!
--Topic what gave them the strength to stand up to the monster Hitler as individuals and as the ONLY religious organization to do so..
--REFERENCE *** g93 5/8 p. 31 A Holocaust Museum and Jehovah’s Witnesses ***
The Nazi State focused intense persecution on Jehovah’s Witnesses—an onslaught out of all proportion to their numbers. Why? The Witnesses, for religious reasons, refused membership and service in the German Labor Front and rejected any oath to Hitler as Führer. The Nazis thus banned them as an organization in April 1933. Accused of both civil and religious disobedience, they were among the first groups to be thrown into concentration camps. “Ultimately, more than 30,000 Witnesses were persecuted by the Nazis,” states a museum newsletter.
The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, located in Washington, D.C., is dedicated to presenting the story of all groups persecuted by the Nazis, including Jehovah’s Witnesses. One source states that the museum “should be of particular interest to Americans and foreign visitors of the Jewish and Jehovah’s Witness religions that were targeted for genocide by the Hitler regime.” Through artifacts, documents, videotaped eyewitness testimony, historical photographs, and film footage, the wartime experiences of various victimized groups are included in the museum’s exhibition, library, and archives. The museum has videotaped interviews with 74 of Jehovah’s Witnesses who were victims of Nazi rule. The museum opened to the public in April 1993.
--THIS IS THE OFFICIAL Holocaust museum of the US in Washington DC and Jehovah's Witnesses as a religion are the only religion in a special space represented!
--PLEASE UNDERSTAND that the reason I am making a firm point on this matter is because the Historians in the Museum said( 'partial quote in my words that appear in the video mentioned above)
'THAT IF the other religions did what Jehovah's witnesses did ---HISTORY WOULD HAVE BEEN DIFFERENT'(my paraphrase!)
--It could be quite a topic, and show what influence a small group can have on the world scene--PLEASE also understand that we as individuals are no better than any other and we indeed have our faults and make mistakes and have to learn from them. AND our organization is far from perfection--BUT INDEED we did take that stand in our worship of Jehovah God as Jesus took his stand for his God and Father!
--YOU PROBABLY have some good examples of witnesses in your school --SOME --are not!

I think Jain is a very interesting religion. However, depending on where you live it may be difficult to find a follower of that particular religion. Next pick: Hinduism.

Unitarian Universalism. If there is a fellowship near you.
Or Quaker, Pagan, Wicca. Those are my suggestions, because they aren't as well know as the other religions. You can be unique.

i'm Muslim i've got been a Muslim for a splash over a 365 days now. i % my faith when I studied it for some months, my mom switched over in the previous I did and that i in basic terms discovered approximately Islam after she grew to alter right into a Muslim. i like the message of the Qur'an and how it explains human nature and why we do the flaws we do and the thank you to stay life to the fullest. My innovations and morals thoroughly replaced when I switched over. I admire women better than I did, i ended ingesting and Islam further me out of a melancholy that got here approximately after my mum and dad divorced. My political evaluations have thoroughly replaced and that i are transforming into extra in touch with the information and happenings international extensive. i'm an Islamist i've got faith that Sharia is the ideal form of government yet i'm going to in no way stress my ideals on all and sundry. No i do no longer belong to a set, i'm considered one of in line with possibility 6 Muslims in my area. the main important fake impact is that of girls in my opinion. definite, regularly occurring i'm insulted because of fact of what i've got faith. Islam teaches peace and any form of battling is barely allowed in that of self-protection while one's life is in possibility. Islam teaches that we are in a position to genuinely stay with individuals of different faiths and each has an substantial place to play in society. we don't oppress women, Muslim women are unfastened to have any profession that they want. Society won't be able to perform effectively with out cooperation between the two genders.
