i have problem regarding the elcb i connect one packaging machine to this elcb and after 6 hrs of running the eclb trip off. the rating of eclb is 40a / 300ma .the machine is euipped with heater and servo motor,is anybody can suggest what might wrong

If there is a capacitor in the circuit such as a motor starter or any capacitive effect in the circuit it can cause eclb to trip. Your 40A/300 ma eclb will trip if the inbound and outbound current differs by more than 300ma. If the machine load changes during operation this will cause a change in current flow. Ater 6 hours of operation it should not trip however unless there is something wrong with the machine or electrical load suddnely changes. The bottom line is that there are 300ma more current inbound than outbound.

The ELCB/GFCI is doing it's job...you just have machinery that is probably leaking a bit of current to ground. I'd say find the source of your leakage...probably an old motor winding that has flaking varnish, etc.

Those elcb are very very sensitive so any condensing humidity may trip them.I don't think anything was wrong if it worked 6 hours
