that's her business. if she is your friend, why do you worry about these things? just accept her as she is or dont talk to her anymore. you're not religious and that is fine. faith is not something you understand.
yeah, that really sounds like EVERY christian i know. are you posting lies just so your atheist buddies can agree with you and you get a cheap laugh? is this what gets you off?

Penny the truth of it is, you are going to hell, in fact so is your Catholic friend, and me, and all people that should die before the Lord's Day? Hell is not so bad, its just six feet under the ground.
The English word Hell means grave when compared with Hebrew word Sheol, and Greek word Hades. She doesn't know that? But she thinks she is helping you? I guess the point I am making is that she is worried about you and your chance at living forever which probably you don't believe any way. The Bible does say that unless you change you will not make it or survive that day. 1 Cor 6:9-11.
I don't understand why you ask this question if you are satisfied with living a shorter life. But I will say one thing that should be said.
Your friend needs to get more accurate knowledge of the Bible because when it is understood in the right sense it can open your mind and heart up to a happiness you have never seen. For example read Mathew 6:9,10, But don't just read it? ponder over it? Now go to Psalms 83:18, and Daniel 2:44, Revelation 21:3,4, see if these scriptures answer Mathew 6:9,10. If you have a King James version?
If you or your friend would like to test the Bibles knowledge just ask and see if it can answer all your questions gemhandy@hotmail.com

First of all were talking about belief, which is hard to understand with worldly logic,so maybe it helps if you understand that her belief is that you are going to hell if you don,t change your behavior / just like it,s my belief that GOD sent his own begotten son to die for our sins and if you die today without accepting Jesus Christ as your savior.you will wake up in hell. I'm not making a judgment about your life so much as I'm stating something i believe as a fact and it,s the reason I risk losing your friendship by telling you . because I'm concerned. It,s a hard sad situation but Good Friends dont let Friends walk blindly in front of a truck! right? Well she see,s a truck! I see a truck! and it,s very hard when your Friend does,nt see the truck. most times the Friend ends up leaving the friendship and that's sad too.but she had to say something cause she also believes she has to stand before GOD in the end and explain why she let you walk into hell without warning.
If you are very close friends and you dont want to lose her. see if she ,ll agree to allow you to find your own way. without her preaching or pushing .tell her youre seeking the truth and ask her to continue praying for you.
she ,s hurt too.

Maybe they don't know how to define themselves? Or maybe they don't feel connected to the rest of the world unless they are part of something they feel is bigger than they are? It's a shame it's gotten to the point where the hell thing is being thrown around. People like that should worry about their own soul and not try to hinder anothers.

To be without GOD is to be without your self and it's not two dimensional, it's freedom see your friend is not whom she once was, she had a life changing experience your old friend has died! and now she is in her second life of rebirth ,so now she is in the process of saving souls she can't not deny GOD no more than denying her most deep and higher self and your friends does care about you! that's why she is warning you of your possible doom today, see when GOD receives us we realize this is a precious gift and the word says we must pick up our cross, so therefore there is a price for freedom ,so happy blessing on your new friend and I hope you can join in on the celebration of life because you are not living until you have died!

My religion doesn't define me as I am many things, but it does define my core beliefs and how I try to live my life.
I guess if someone honestly believes that going to hell nonsense, they would worry about a loved one though, so take it from where it comes.

"(Insert friend's name here), I love you, but if you tell me I'm going to burn in hell one more time, you're going to lose a tooth." We are social animals, therefore we have the need to be part of a group. However, some people go WAY too far with this. And no, you're not living in sin with your boyfriend... I mean, who buys a car before taking it on a test drive?

To each their own I guess. Your friend is quite the opposite of my brother's page where he tells his entire life story, likes/dislikes, favorite athletes, etc. and as an after thought, throws in what religion he is at the end of his novel.
I don't mind being friends with Christians, but the friendship is over when they start condemning me to the fiery pits of hell.

Good question. I'm a firm believer in the word of God, but not in the word of man. Find God for yourself and live right. Your life will be blessed because of it. No church, no preacher, and especially no particular religion can get you saved. Its only by the grace of God.

Because for the incurious it is an easy way out from having to deal with real life, it is intellectually lazy to be able to refer to some rule or other however many people prefer that way of life.
