I'm sick and tired of stepping on gum or having to clean it up. Today, someone left a chewed piece of gum on our cordless telephone! Yuck!
So, why do people drop gum on the ground and leave it on things?

maybe they would start giving a..... if we could have our litter laws enforced and they can be fined thousands of dollars for ruining the sidewalks the taxpayers pay for

It's because people are often too lazy to get up and find a proper wastebasket. And it is very disgusting and detrimental to daily life. I can remember leaning against a chair in health class(ironically)many moons ago, and getting gum on my sleeve. The shirt was ruined.

I think it's basic human laziness, and definite lack of manners! I think people who litter should have to do community service to clean up trash that's been left on the side of the road... maybe they'd learn from that! If their parents didn't teach them not to litter, I suppose society has to do it.

cause they're disgusting and weren't taught any manners. I hate it when they leave gum under a table or desk.

i can give you more than one reason
1- no home training
2-they're triflin as h3ll
3-they just don't give a ffuucckk
4-they see other people do it and they repeat the behavior
5-crazy
