Whats the difference between sun tan oil and lotion?

The lotion has a cream and water base while the oil has an oil base. The lotion is made to penetrate into your skin.While the oil is made to sit on top of your skin.

Umm... one is a lotion, one is an oil.

Think on this, what do you use oil for in cooking? To FRY.
