I was in Amsterdam for a few Days over a year ago. The Hotel I stayed in was quite nice and comfortable I think it was a 3 Star. It was called the Avenue Hotel on Niewezoid vurburgsval on leaving Centraal Station go straight up to Dam Square and behind the Royal Palace turn right and go 500 hundred yards and it is on right. Stay away from Oudezoidvurburgsval and Acterzoidvurburgsval and the Oude Kirk that is the Naughty Place. There was a few nasty looking People selling Charlie ,Heroin along the Canals in this Area. The Sex Show was very Good ,there was a lot of Women with there Boyfriends and Husbands attending these Shows. The Sex Shops were a Hoot all the different Gadgets for sale. Amsterdam is a Fun Town plenty of Parties. A lot of Aging Hippies there. Good luck on youre Visit.
