who should i listen to?

i like thiis guy alot. hes 20. i'm 17. we've known eachother since i was 2. we've been close friends. we hung out for over 7 hours and i fell for him more. my friends say i should go for him. i do like him. but my mom says i should back off. he doenst have a good job (if he still has his old one) has been with alot of gross girls, lives with his mom and doesnt have a car. but i still like him. is he good for me? my friends say i could change him, but i dont want to date him to change him. i want him to better himself not for me to better him. i do like him alot. but who should i listen to?

It's important that if you want to get into a relationship, that you commit to that person, exactly how he is. You can't change or mold people.

Sounds to me that you already know what you should do. Listen to that feeling in your gut, even if your heart longs for something different.

That nawing feeling in your gut is called intuition. Listen to it.

Listen to yourself.. You're going to date him, not your mom or your friends! 1. Your mom is thinking way too ahead.. (You shouldn't do that either) 2. There's nothing wrong with a 20 year old living with his mom..

No you shouldn't date him...if you don't like yourself or value your self worth...go right ahead settle for him. No man can be changed, he is who he is. If he has been with a lot of gross girls he doesn't value his self worth either, nor should you, move along little doggie.

you definitelyy shouldnt go out with him to change him, and love isnt about moneyyy. you should listen to yourself. you like him; why not give it a chance?
