Not as long as you *both* are clear that it is over, but out of courtesy to your ex, you might mention it to her first. She wouldn't want to be the last to know; that would be rude. And you DO want to continue to get along with her, don't you? Maybe even get a good recommendation, or at least not a 'thumbs down", right?

It's a tough question. In most cases, especially if it was a close relationship, the best thing (if you want to stay in touch, of course) is to avoid regular (daily basis) contact until you BOTH cool down (emotionally). Then maybe you can start building a different kind of relationship. But beware! If you become friends and some amount of sexual (or romantic, anyway) attraction stays (as it very often does), you will have less space inside yourself for the next person that enters your life.

If you and ur ex are still close then there is no question. You would definitely be crossing the line unless ur ex gives you the ok. and even then the signals can be mixed. I would just stay away from the drama that is about to unfold.

Yes, it is, especially if you and your ex are still close. She might be secretly wanting you back. If you ever cared about her, you would stay away. You could ruin a great friendship between your exgirlfriend and her best friend. There are many other fish in the sea...stay away from this one.

Ask her. If you're still close, then she deserves to have input. If it was me, I wouldn't care. If one of my friendly exes dated my best friend, I would think that was great because then I have more friends in a group. I'm lazy and that seems easier.

If he's your ideal pal (I propose ideal pal) then why no longer in basic terms refer to him approximately it first. At 17, you do no longer throw away your friends over a woman with a view to no longer look shady do no longer make it look such as you're doing something at the back of his decrease back.
