I am looking to adopt a tea cup/miniature yorkshire terrier.Is there anywhere in the uk that anyone knows of...or a rescue list i can go on.

Daft, as this may sound, have you ever considered putting an ad in LOOT? It's free and, believe it or not, I got one of my Yorkies through this paper. I put in a short notice offering a good and loving home to a Yorkshire terrier. One of my Yorkies had recently died and the remaining one was so lonely. Within 24hrs, Teddy entered my life and it was the best thing I had ever done. My next Yorkie also came via the person who answered my ad in Loot!
I am not saying you could get a Yorkie free of charge in this way but, considering most 'rescue' centres would ask for a certain 'donation', it's worth looking at. You will have more of a chance if you can show you are really dedicated to the breed and can provide the right home.
Try Loot. Good luck, and perhaps a Yorkie will enter your life before long!!!

Firstly. There is no such thing as a Teacup or a Miniature Yorkshire Terrier. The Yorkshire terrier breed should weigh under 7lbs. anyone who tells you otherwise knows nothing about the breed.
Contact one of the Yorkshire Terrier breed clubs who should be able to give you details of Rescue

My little sister loves dogs, especially yorkies. Her birthday is coming up and I want to get her one for her birthday. I've heard that http://www.artistryyorkies.com/yorkie-puppies.aspx#.UscknieJ7Dw sells them. I'm going to check them out sometime this week and see what they have.
