Is it normal for dogs to eat each others poop? seriously...?

I have 2 schnoodles (part poodle part schnauzer) that are 6 months old. They actually eat each other's poop before it even hits the ground! It's disgusting, but is it just my dogs that do this? Because BOTH of them do it. Is it just my dogs? Has anybody ever heard of this happening?

I heard an employee at a pet store say that puppies think poop is like chocolate. Sounds gross, but it makes sense. Try having your dogs 'go' in different areas and pick it up immediately after the job is done.
