Don't let other people pressure you into following one religion or another. That's what people did during the inquisition, and it had really bad results. Instead, listen to your heart. If you believe in being a morman, join it. If you don't believe there is a god, don't be anything. If you believe there is a God, but don't believe in Mormanism, look for another religion. Find a faith you believe is true. Don't just wait around because you haven't been to church in a while. God forgives people!!! Figure out a faith that suits you, then follow it.
Best of luck:)

My opinion==stay a free American. Mormans are called by another culture communists, because of their religious beliefs of female slavery. Also on sight =I was in a morman church and the ole men feel your body and your suppose to allow it. Also when you grow up and get a job, their rules are to pay them 10% of your wages before taxes. If I were you I'd not be a mormon. When you believe in god your actually believeing in yourself and you can do that anywhere.

In my opinion you should study the truth inside the religion before you decide to follow it. Theologically, every religion teach it followers to be a good mankind.Comparing Christian, Islam, Judaism, Hindu and Buddhist these five big religions infact believe in one god. Only the way that they convey ( pray ) the message to the god is different. I suggest that you study the books of these religions or search for answers from any of intelectual people from these group of religions if you have any questions about life. Do not hear the hearsay and do not ask the ordinary people.Comparing the notes then choose which one prevail the truth. There should be only one. Once you believe, stick to it and used it as your way of life...

What, you don't want to be a Mormon because of your friends or your parents or is it just you? Be a leader and take control of your life. You should find real joy by having a real relationship with the Lord. Read John 3:16 and see how much God loves you, that He gave His only Son to die for you, so you could have eternal life. I hope you Can really find a solace in Jesus and not in a religion. Love, be bless.

This is not really a question to ask here on Yahoo. This is something you need to realize on your own... if your Morman, Im sure you know how to pray... pray to the God that you beleive in and ask for guidance... noone here can guide you like He can.

You're never 'nothing'. You are at least a human.
I think you need to examine *why* your family isn't going to church and then *why* you feel the need to go or not go. It's really what's in your heart that counts more than what your friends have to say about it, isn't it?
Look to your own heart for guidance and then take it for there. And quit putting so much stock in what your 'friends' say about your life. They are inconsequential in the grand scheme of things.

Try going out on your own for a while. You can always go back if it doesn't work for you.
Not going to church doesn't make you an Atheist, it just makes you a less than committed mormon. It does, however, free you to explore both your own faith and the faiths of others.

I am guessing you are probably not old enough to make that decision on your own yet. I'm an atheist but do what you feel is best for you, not what any of your friends say, with time and greater maturity you will make up your own mind.

This is a decision you must make alone and what faith fulfills you.
You will not be holding your friends hands all your life. Take a step on your own and find your path of faith.

Nobody can tell you to be one thing or another. Religion is a choice you have to make on your own. My mother claims to be Catholic but she hasn't seen the inside of a church since her wedding day....
