hello do chihuahuas break there legs often is it true they can break there leg from jumping of a chair?

they are very small and it is possible if their legs are tiny enough, jumping off a chair would be like jumpimg off ofa one-story building for you.

Any dog can break a leg or bad injury from jumping down from objects, obviously the smaller they are, the higher they fall from, and the impact is harder, common sense really. Try not to allow him/her up on furniture....1. because of injury, and 2. dominant issues, in a pack the Alpha male will stand on higher ground, so if your dog is at an elevated level..he/she will try to dominate.

yes it's absolutly true. they can even break they're legs from a jump off the couch or bed. its scary to thing about but theirs nothing you can do but teach your chihuahua to stay off the bed and couch or chairs. it's the only way to prevent that from happening.
