I feed Purina Puppy Chow soaked with warm water until soft! It has everything a puppy needs to grow & be healthy!

Well I don't know what you've heard but your pup is still to young to be fed any solid food. Give it another week or so then buy some puppy food (dry) put it in a blender and chop it up well. Give it 1/4 cup at atime mixed with warm water until it looks like oatmeal. Introduce it to the pup. It is important that the pup still be allowed to nurse from mom too. You can give it a small amout of water in a shallow bowl too. do not leave the water bowl in with the pup. Let him get what he wants then take it away. As it grows older then you can leave it.

Golden is 100% right. The puppies should be 4 weeks old before you introduce them to food. As she said put in blender and blend until it is consistency of cooked oatmeal. At five weeks you then can reduce fluids in puppies food. At six weeks offer soft, damp food, at this time you will want to give them individual attention , give each puppy time with you away from the litter ..Goodluck with your fur babies.

I mixed goat's milk in with dry puppy food (you could use water but don't use regular milk) and let it soak until it got soft. Then I mixed baby rice cereal in with it. They loved it! They especially liked the banana flavored rice cereal! When they got their teeth in, I quit soaking the food and started them on it plain.

Why don't you take the puppy to the vet and ask them what you should feed her?
