do a lot of people get caught dling songs with this??

hmmmm... so im guessing ur itching to use limewire and just want to know.... well i've never heard of anyone getting caught with it...... and it seems pretty safe... although it'd be quite easy to get caught.... because limewire uses ur IP address for almost everything....

They get caught when they have large libraries that are being offered. When you download a file by default it is offered to other users. That is where you get caught since companies are browsing the list of offers. Make sure that you do not allow uploads from your computer. The lawsuit settlements are about $5000. Why take a chance? Pay for your music.

Some of the sites you download from are owned by the RIAA.
Simple strategy, put a long list of the top songs and movies on the site and wait for the suckers to incriminate themselves when they try to download them.

nobody gets caught but why use limewire when ares is free easy to use and virus free unlike limewire which is full of bugs and viruses

As far as I know the RIAA mostly looks at the uploaders not the downloaders. At least that is what you read in the news.
