Not very, if the quality of the school isn't that high. At the local state university, there are triple majors.

Even at top-tier schools, you can generally do a double major without having to have a major overload of credits. You are usually required to take things outside your major, anyway.

Being smart helps... But it is mostly the willingness to put in long hours. Ultimately though a BA or BS value is not really determinate on how many or in what. So unless you want a job that requires such a degree, just find something you like doing and stick with that.
