Every movie has editing, a good example is the so-called documentary 911 movie that what's his name did. It was slanted because that is the perspective he wanted out of it. This movie is the same. If you talk with the millions of kids and adults who went to bible camps that are solid citizens today, they are not waging war by becoming suicide bombers, they are not cutting off people's heads, and certainly not justifying horrific acts against women and children in the name of their god. They do no harm - perhaps just the opposite, they think about their lives and the positive contributions they can make in society. Hey, we all learned stuff in school that we found out later wasn't quite right - like the whole theory that we came from some monkey society, or that the world started with a bang - all those theories are now being reconsidered due to new knowledge and reasearch. So, the best answer I can give you is that each person starts out with information, as you grow and mature, you need to seek and search the truth, then adjust your life accordingly. So they get a little carried away - hmmm, let's look at football game rituals, etc...

I think almost all, if not all religion, is a form of manipulation, usually starting at a very young age. Think about it. If you're told that things are a certain way, and that no other way is possible from when you first start to learn about the world, doesn't it seem EXTREMELY unfair? Religion deprives kids of the ability to form their own opinions. Just because the last generation of people were so weak and frightened that they needed the crutch of religion, it is no reason to subject a whole new generation of kids to such a limited world view. And that is my rant for the day. But think about it.

These fanatics are just as scary as any Islamic terrorist training film. Mindless devotion to religion in the absence of any rational thought is always a scary thing, no matter what name is put on it. Why would anyone accept a religion that actually makes the world's problems worse? True Christians oppose war.

That movie is the single most frightening news program that I've ever seen. That woman needs to be arrested and locked away for the good of mankind.

Of course it is. From a nonchristian, pagan point of view I find this treatment of children as offensive, cruel and frightening. They are trying to make tomorrow's fanatics today. This is why I am no longer christian.

Child abuse at its worst.
Sick at best.
What other situation would it be allowed to threaten little children with torture like the eternal damnation these people speak of with out the one doing it being arrested.
