Most airline's will fly to New York, except budget airlines. Try Thomas Cook or United Airlines

Virgin, BA, United Airlines, Emirates all fly from Heathrow. If you want to fly from Birmingham or Gatwick you will need to fly Continental.
There's also a dedicated Business Flight airline that offers cheap business flights from Luton, They are called Silverjet.

Try BA I think they have a sale at the moment - you shouldnt pay more than £200 unless its peak times.

Most airlines do - Virgin and & BA go from Heathrow.
Continental go from Gatwick
