Give it some time - a lot of kids don't have boyfriends/girlfriends. And if you are coming off as desperate, your chances of finding one will decrease. Girls don't like that. Just try being friends with a girl you like (or a few) and see where that leads. Don't just seek her out only to be her girlfriend. Sometimes having a girl that is a friend can be good too. In high school, I had a lot of guy friends, but they weren't my boyfriends. Takes a lot of pressure off and we had a blast.

I have had the same problem since I got married...
just stick in there, don't get discouraged. Nothing will send a girl in the other direction faster than a guy that looks and acts desperate.

Try looking for a girlfriend through your friends and their friend's friends. Or perhaps a penpal website would be a good idea to look for female friends. Do not worry, you are still young. Many, many more years to go at the dating scene.

David you need to worry more about school than dating. Now a days if you aint got a diplomia you aint gonna have nothing but a mc donalds job. Get back in school and stop worrying about girls. Girls will always be around.

DUDE SERIOUSLY!!! ur single and young just be happy! dont be in a hurry to fall in love cuz thats exactly what it is, falling! its not fun, its painful and hard and complicated and it can make u manic depressive boderline suicidal in some cases and once ur in luv alot of times u'll just think back on the days when u were single and happy and think 'wtf happened to me?' so go w/the flow. dont rush,i repeat DO NOT RUSH! i did, and i made a huge mess. i wanted a bf so i asked this guy out cuz he had a cute smile ( i didnt love him just thought he was cute) he said he already liked sum1 and i was like 'ok oh well i dont really care' and apparently he thinks im not over him but i am obviously since i fell in luv right after that, w/a girl...who i l8r found out was preg...and i still loved her...unrequitedly. after getting over the preg girl i fell in love again, w/another straight girl, this time (still unrequited) it lasted alot longer, i'm still in luv w/her. havent told her yet, afraid i'll screw up r friendship...SEE NOW?! See how screwy love is? dont rush. or u'll make a huge mess like me. dont rush.

I don't understand how today's youth feel they have to be in "love". Dude, do not grow up to fast. Live life...Have fun. You will have plenty of time to find a girlfriend. Let it find you...
