A Cyclist is not a pedestrian. Bicycles operating on a roadway are considered motor vehicles. They are afforded the same rights and restrictions that go along with that.
You would have the same "right of way" as if you were driving. As well as expected to yield the right of way as required.

Cyclists are considered "motor vehicles"...NOT pedestrians. In most states bicycles are required to adhere to the vehicular code, i.e. they are treated just like cars. They also should be on the street as opposed to on the sidewalk. This, however, is rarely enforced. All right-of-way issues are treated in the exact same manner as right-of-way vs. another vehicle...but most motorists don't honor this.
Be very careful when you come upon a situation where you would have the right of way in a car but you are on a bike...the other motorist may not honor your right of way "priority" and it will be a painful mistake if you press your luck and go for it based on the assumption that they will yield to you.
Be careful and keep cycling!!

you have the same rights and restrictions than a car. though I don't think most car drivers know that.
I still get regularly honked at because some car wants to turn right and I happen to want to go straight but am slower. I wish they would make some questions about how to behave towards bicycles mandatory for the theoretical tests for car drivers.
and you are only a pedestrian when you get off your bike and push

Cyclists are NOT pedestrians. Pedestrians are walking and belong on the sidewalks and crosswalks. Cyclists are considered vehicles and as such are subject to the same rights and regulations as motor vehicles.

Yes, but that doesn't mean anything when it comes to getting hit. People driving just don't see riders....it may look like they are looking at you but they're just looking for oncoming traffic.
Be smart be quick and be safe.

I believe we do. I'm not sure if every driver accepts that though.
