well, in this world we live in, it'll be hard to prove that to ANYONE -- even your mother. So first things first, gain credibility. If i were in your place, I'd send a letter (postal mail) to:
1.) Authorities - those who would be directly involved by the events on the premonition you had -- and those who can actually do something about it. Whether or not they believe you, is up to them: you've done your part.
2.) Send yourself a SEALED copy of the letter. After the event has occurred, you hold proof (the dates stamped by the post office won't lie) that you had 'premonition' on the event BEFORE it happened, and chances are, this will gain you credibility and the authorities would listen to any future premonitions you may have.
...the ideas i come up with... think i watch too much television?? ; )
cheers!

The problem would be in convincing others to take you seriously.
If you foresee a tragedy, the only thing you can do --- as a general rule --- is to pray .... pray that the situation be solved and that no one should be hurt .... and that way it will make matters easier .... however, sometimes the situation is too big for just one person so if you have friends who also have the same premonition or at least have faith in your extrasensory perception, you can get together and pray ...
The human race is not yet developed enough to deal with this as an every day thing ...

you can't...
first of all... you have no credibility yet... no psychic ever has.
you have no evidence that a certain event will happen except that you've "forseen" it.
if you have no solid evidence, then people won't bother.
2nd...
you have to be more specific... predictions are often vague and subject to interpretations...
heck... if your prediction is worded very vaguely, it would fit perfectly to almost any situation...depending on the interpretation of the audience. case in point, nostradamus.
if you are really sure of your psychic vision, take matters into your own hands... prevent it from happening.
Jesus even had trouble convincing the people about the future... and HE IS GOD! how much more for you?

I agree with the two above me. The odds of being taken seriously are better if there is an air of witnessing a questionable conversation, vs. telling them that you had a vision. Someone may believe you about the visions, however the majority will simply assume lunacy.

I would definitley tell someone. Maybe someone close to you first, and then if you find out when the event is going to happen, you should tell someone in authority. but you shouldn't keep it completely to yourself, unless you're only doing it for attention and you know that it's not really going to happen (but I'm sure that's not the case).

Well, i would lie about how i got the info (like: OOO, i heard a group of terrorists ear an ally and say that etc.) and prob tell my relatives to report it. If the the cops dont believe this, then tell em to check it out.

if that individual wass ever actual then she would by no ability declare it as an ability yet particularly a job. something given her. the two Peter 3:3 quote became taken out of context although. that is approximately people who, contained in the top days, ridicule faith and chosen particularly to stay their lives unmindful of offending God.

You would need to have a credible source. Even if it is hearsay authorities will take you seriously, but joking around about it will get you into trouble.

If you know it's going to happen then show them the facts that you seen. If you seen it in your head ..they're never going to believe you and pass over you as if you were a nutcase ..but if you do tell them ..and they think you're a nutcase ..THEN it happens ..they're not going to be thinking you're a prophet, they're going to think you were connected somehow and will bring you in for 500 questions.

It depends how you know about it. You just go to th epolice or the FBI and tell them, and they question you until they find out if your source is reliable or you are just crazy. If you persuade them that you are not crazy, it doesn't matter if you don't know the date, they use the info you have.
