If you needed to raise that kind of money this is a project you need to do at the beginning of the school year and make it ongoing. Since it's spring you might want to consider a few options hosting a car wash, bake sale, hot dog/hamburger lunches, pancake breakfasts. You might want to have the kids donate out of pocket to part of their costs like hotel and meals and whatever you fund raise can help offset costs for transportation and other expenses. $18g is a lot of money in such a short span of time.

I offer fundraisers for these types of things. I'm a Purse Party consultant and basically your group would take catalog orders and I will donate 20% of your total sales to your organization!
