the remainder of my budgies food was spilled and he is out of food. I have put small pieces of dried papaya but he doesnt seem to be eating it is there anything else i can give him to hold him over until monday?

Well, your budgie will eat by your example. You are his flock leader and can eat something in front of him and act out. Tell him how delicious it is and really be exaggerating your efforts. This will get him interested. Chop him up some cooked egg, Add some whole grains like oat meal. You can buy a cheap brand at the grocery store until you can buy his pellet food. Feed him with a spoon.All seed diets lead to malnutrition. He looks up to you. Eat things in front of him and then offer them to him. Things should be ok. Hang in there. It's already Sunday. Have a great week. I have swept up spilled food. It's all good.

Salad Cress - Peas - Apple - Celery - Courgette - Sweetcorn - Watercress - Boiled Rice - Parsley Sprig - Grapes - Cucumber - Dandelion Leaves - Broccoli - Board Beans - Carrots - Finger of bread soaked in water - Mashed Boiled Egg (shell also) - Tomatoes - Lettuce - Cooked Pasta - Radishes (leaves also)

u can give warm boiled rice and soft leaves of cabbage and spinach. They love it.

when i run out i give mine bread its what u would give birds out in the street or cut a apple up mine like that
