You know, I had a hard time with this one because, I share it with 2 sisters, What we decided on was we found a really nice big scrap book that you can add pages to and covered it ourselves with plant leaves and such and it really has worked out nicely. Our family didn't believe in the writing down of spells so they were pretty much memorized and passed down but we like to record them. So we started one ourselves.

The only BOS I've ever seen has been the tag on my bags when I travel through Logan Airport in Boston.

I have quite a few. Some are notebooks that I may or may not have decorated, I have a few that are 3 ring binders and one that is cloth covered that was made and given to me as a gift. I also have 2 scrap books that serve as B.O.S.

My Book of Shadows is actually a combination of loose paper with writings, recipes, essays etc, a couple of notebooks with various things in it, notes, more recipes, writings, and a file folder or two on the computer and one in my email. What make a book, is its use a contents, not its composition.
