Silk flowers is her best bet. Anything else will look to weird or out of place. My wedding is all in silk flowers except for the bouquet I'll be holding.

You could do silk flowers or any other type of fake flower. Or maybe just wear some elbow length gloves and don't hold anything. Otherwise if you really wanted to hold something, you could hold a handbag.

Have you thought about fake flowers? My husband has allergies really badly, so we visisted hobby and craft shops and were able to find flowers that looked real. They also make spray that you can put on the flowers, so the church even smelled like fresh roses.

you can have them old fake flowers instead some stores like bed bath and beyond have these really nice fake flowers that look totally real. and you can get them to match the bridesmaids dresses. or you can have them hold candles that are lite. { inside of candle holders of course}

They can hold just about anything you want! A fun idea might be a bouquet of little balloons. Or, on the knot, i saw a whole wedding party that carried paper flowers that they ha made themselves. it was very cool.

the bridesmaids dont really have to hold anything ... maybe have them wear a pretty shawl and then their hands would be occupied
