I'm looking to take a year out in a buddhist retreat, but finding somewhere is very difficult. Does anyone have any useful information? Thanks.

lol good advice. Its just I'm worried that the Tibetans might resent yet another white westerner who wants to find enlightenment. You know? I'm just not sure they'd accept me.

Try the Tibet mountains ..... :P.

Tibetan Buddhism might be unconventional, and it feels like superstitions, but then it is also one of the hardest to understand.

(For Banana above ... I also wasted one year .... walking around countries ;) ) .......
