The Samaritans have an email service. You can email them now at: jo@samaritans.org . For more, see:
http://www.samaritans.org.uk/talk/email.shtm
The Connexions service is availably to disabled people up to the age of 24. I asked them once if depression counts as a disability, and they said that if I considered myself depressed, they'd help me untill the age of 24. If you tick the Disability box, they will help you. See:

One place I use is the Crazyboards chat room - its mainly American but they are usually very helpful in there. It isn't a proffesional place, but these are Crazyboards philosphoy is that by being well informed we can improve our recovert. You can following the instructions to get in to the chat room here:
http://www.crazyboards.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=757
Without knowing specifically what your problems are, I'll just give you the general link to Supportline. They have a list of problems down the left hand side. Click on any that apply to you - it'll bring up a page with lots of information and relevant resources. See:
http://www.supportline.org.uk/problems/depression.php#
Supportline also offer an email service. Eemail info@supportline.org.uk - They offer confidential emotional support to Children, Young People and Adults. They also have details of agencies, support groups and counsellors throughout UK.
Also, I know how awful it is to have an Doctor who doesn't understand. If you feel you aren't getting the help you need, remember that you are entitled to ask to see another doctor - they won't ask any questions. Just ask the receptionist.
I'm not familiar with the support available in Ireland, but the citizensadvice.ie website has a list of some major mental health support charities in Ireland. Most have an email address so it may be worth sending off a few emails to ask if they know of any email support services:

I know you don't want to talk over the phone but using their email service has helped me in the past.
Unfortunately you won't get an instant response, but should have one within 24 hours.
It might help to put everything down in words, and then you can see the reply tomorrow.
Other than that I'm not sure of any service that you can have an online conversation with - Sorry.
But I do agree that you need to be careful if you decide to enter into IM or emailing, as you never quite know if you're talking to someone who knows what they are talking about, or just messing around..... There are always chat rooms, but again you might get the same, though I have sometimes used them, and on the whole found people using them have been genuine.
Your problems and your life is far too personal and precious to be messed about with.
I'm an advocate of the National Mind Organisation, and there is a lot of guidance that you could read on their website. It might help, so try taking a look.
As someone else said, have you any friends who might help you at the moment. Someone you trust to take you seriously and not take the mickey? That could help a great deal. Or a close family member perhaps?
Good luck, and hope you find something to help you though.

people are the only general specie to apply language. Animals talk (dolphins and monkeys are a number of the main stepped forward) yet no by way of forming words and words as in the English language. there's a distinction between communique and language that's why we are on the suitable of the nutrients chain.
