Wow - that's a lot of people! We are just having 1 maid of honor, 1 best man, 3 bridesmaids, 3 groomsmen, 1 ringbearer and 1 flowergirl! Then we have 2 ushers and maybe 1 or 2 guest book attendants.

They say that you should have a good ration between guests and the wedding party. Obviosuly if you have a wedding party of 30 and you have 5 people sitting in the pews, this will look odd.
I am having 300 guests, here is my wedding party:
1 Maid of Honour
5 Bridesmaids
4 Junior Bridesmaids
1 Best Man
5 Groomsmen
4 Junior Groomsmen
1 Ring Bearer
2 Flower Girls
4 Ushers (possibly 6)
4 Hostesses (possibly 6)
****But I am a lil OCD about things being in even numbers on both sides, lol****
So besides having to rent out an army of limos, I think it's more fun to have that many people! Its your day, if you feel comfortable with rounding that many people up, go for it! (for a tip: write up and print an itenerary for the 'day-of' activites and give them to eveyone! It will save sooooo much hassle!)

I am having a maid of honor and a matron of honor. He is having two best men. We are having two bridesmaids and two groomsmen. A jr bridesmaid and a jr groomsmen. We are having three ushers, one flower girl and one ring bearer. So about 15 people which is half of yours. I bet there is alot of stress involved making sure everyone is fitted for their dresses, ect. Congradulations on your BIG day!!!!!!!!!!

Wow you must be filthy rich. Really loaded. Or are lucky enough to have all those friends and family. Gee.
I was married in 1993 in my in-laws house. I had a good friend as my one matron of honor, hubby had his brother as his best man. That was it. Family and friends who wanted to attend did, and those who weren't interested, didn't come. My sisters-in-law did the buffet dinner. Everything went really well, I thought. Those wanting a big wedding with all the trimmings and traditions would have thought it was sad, but we liked it!

Sorry, but that's just nuts. And one does not have BOTH a matron and maid of honour.
I had a maid of honour, he had a best man. We had three attendants each. That's IT! We had LOTS of fun because it was a manageable group.
I have never heard of such a menagerie as you are having! Good luck with it.

including my husband and I...4...my, him, maid of honour and best man. 30 people? mommy and daddy much be filthy stinkin rich cuz you have to buy a nice gift for every single one of those people. good luck to you on that. your wedding party is almost bigger then my whole wedding. but I guess some of us still remember that getting married is about the marriage, not imporssing people with how much money you have. how everything works out for you.
