I am almost ALWAYS cold. My house stays at about 72-74 degrees (Fahrenheit), but I'm still cold. Sometimes I even shiver, and my mom says my hands are like blocks of ice. Do you think there's something wrong with me?

You should have a physical and have your heart checked for any little abnormalities--which are more common than most people think. Nerves, stress diet ... all of these things can make the blood rush from your extremities to your internal organs--it is like part of the fight or flight reaction. Sometimes ... I suddenly start shivering ... it's probably becasue I smoke ciggaretts. Nicotien can constrict the blood vessles in this way--and make you shiver. Are you a chain smoker? Are you too thin? Too fat? Get a check up and be sure to tell the doctor about ALL of the cold symptoms

you should ask your Dr. if your thyroid level needs to be checked. Sometimes people with low thyroid levels are cold all the time. Also, maybe you are anemic.
