DON'TS - make plans for him he is proberly going out with his friend but if not make backup for the weekend.
Do's - If he doesnt have an MP3 player get him one for all his cds.
A new cell phone
Clothes
His Favorate DVD
Give him a Private party with all the trimming if you know what i mean ;-)
See if ther is concert in town that or near town that he might like to go to then that something you guys can do together.

My son is that age and he's nuts for remote controlled cars. But the ones he uses are very expensive. Myself, I want a metal detector. That just sounds like fun. Just a thought.

i bought my baby a "creative" mp3 player that plays videos and songs...he loved it...oh and he's 21 as well
