Benjamin Moore Paint (website link below) and Pottery Barn (website link below) have coupled their suggestions for wall color and furnishings, which is a very trendy, yet classically transitional and can easily be paired with items you may already own. You can look through the color viewer on the paint site and order samples if you wish. Pottery Barn shows the wall colors they use in their rooms in their catalog, which you can also request from their site. It's a good place to start, just by using their suggestions (you don't necessarily even have to purchase their items). Hope you enjoy your new home, have fun decorating it.

Sage green is a very trendy color that is also calming and cozy. It goes well with a butter yellow, a clay (gray), eggplant purple, maroon and saddle brown.

Use the green as a base color on the walls and use the other colors as accents in fabrics, drapes, pillows, or pictures. Don't be afraid to mix patterns and textures- it adds interest and character to the room.

do not placed blonde in it because of the fact black and blonde does not constantly finally end up appropriate. i might bypass with a chestnut brown shade or a burgundy shade, or a mahogany shade. Redish brown hues might seem great. good success. :]
