You obviously haven't met the Morrigan, Sekhmet, or Mars.
Some Gods and Goddesses are quite warlike and/or destructive -- which is fitting, since many Neo-Pagans believe that their Gods emcompass all aspects of the universe: creation and destruction, pleasure and pain, life and death.

I'm going to assume for a moment that by Neo-Pagan you are thinking of the Fluffy-bunnies and White-Lighters? Yes, their concept of deity is how shall I say white washed, they view everything as all light and sweetness.
Now, on the other hand I think you would find that Pagans in general (not the Fluffies) and certainly Heathens do not view all of our Gods and Goddesses as being so peace loving. There are plenty of Deities of Death, War, Disease, etc... in all pantheons. There is a balance between everything.

I've got to agree with some of the other comments here. There's certainly some gods that are peaceful, but there's just as many that seem willing to throw down given good reason.
The ones that I follow aren't always described as warriors - but they've still defended themselves when needed.

I don't know. I really wouldn't describe any of my deities as "peace-loving". Some are more peaceful than others but none are pacifists.
