logically why would you ran when you meet Angel Gabriel, how did the angel appear to Muhammad unless he meet a fallen angel. Just like when this 3 little children (age around 5-8 ) meet Mother Mary in Fatima Portugal they did not ran when they meet Virgin Mary but followed her because Mother Mary apparations did not scared them.

Maybe Muhammad (peace be with him) didnt want to be a profit at first? Maybe he thought it was to big for him, like all great contributors to to the world first think.

All prophets started preaching at a certain age, there were no prohets who started calling people to the Right Path, as soon as they were born. That means the first of their life, they lived their life, not as prophets, but as ordinary men, Allaah's servants. Therefore there had to be the time when Allah sent Jibreel AS fir the first time, to reveal His SWT words. The first time sure has to be an unordinary appereance. Your comparison with Mary makes no sense, because MAry after all, was a woman, a human being. I think it's nothing special that you see human beings on Earth :) But appereance of a malak - angel sure is. They don't walk around just like that.

i am not writing to specifically answer this question but in response to 'guru' i think you have it wrong, islam is not an evil and corrupt religon as you have described, most the bible is made up anyway so cut out the crap and by the way the bible doesn't mean jesus in some of the statements it means that muhammed pbuh was saying those things so get cha facts rite batty boi (excuse the slang)

Mother mary, who is not an angel, who is just a human being like u and i, who is DEAD, who cannot appear to people, who if seen by peopel, just like any apparition of a human being that has died, is old satan playing a trick......comparing her to an angel is just the worst mistake to make for any christian.
So by just doing that, u cant say anything against any muslims for the wrongs in their religion.

You would've thought the sun spinning in the sky would've frightened everyone but I've seen pics of people just standing there watching.Gabriel was not meant to be the kindest angel.
